Copyright & Licensing Policies
Authors who wish to publish their articles in the Alassema University Scientific Journal (AUSJ) certify that:
· The submitted manuscript is their original work.
· It is not under consideration for publication by any other journal.
· They have received consent from all co-authors (if applicable) to submit the manuscript to AUSJ.
· They have obtained all necessary permissions to reuse any third-party copyrighted material in their paper (e.g., images from other authors’ papers/books).
· The individual signing the publication agreement is either the copyright holder of the manuscript or a legal representative of their employer (in cases where copyright is held by the employer).
Upon publication in AUSJ, authors retain the copyright to their published works. However, they agree that their articles will be made publicly available under the latest Creative Commons CC-BY-NC license. This license permits redistribution, remixing, and building upon the content of the paper in any manner, provided it is not for commercial purposes and proper attribution is given to the original source (i.e., Alassema University Scientific Journal).
In addition to the rights granted by the aforementioned license, authors grant AUSJ and its publisher the exclusive right to sell their published articles in print collections (to be produced on demand) and the right to deposit the metadata of their articles in all relevant scholarly databases. Apart from the published articles, copyright for the website's content, design, and the journal’s logo is exclusively owned by Alassema University Publishing.
